Circle
The puppy who just wants to love you. He’s so full of affection, I only learnt later that he was disabled. He was born with a very soft skull, and he is blind, deaf and doesn’t posses a good sense of smell like other dogs do. They named him Circle because he can’t walk in a straight line; his sense of balance is also affected. I wanted to adopt him, this little dog at the pet store.
Sadly, Circle passed away at just 5 months of age. He had such challenges in life, but still was able to offer such generous affection.
We sometimes take things for granted – our abilities, talents, health… all these are gifts awarded to us, and can be revoked at any time. It would be a waste not have fully used these gifts and to look back with regret at the things one could have and should have done.
Live, love and laugh. Life is beautiful.
